With no less than 15 new faces on the Tennessee Titans roster, change was inevitable. While the team has upgraded the quality of players on its rosters, there is still a major question of how to get them to improve on last season’s 6-10 record.
And if it wasn’t evident from the collapse of last season, Head Coach Mike Munchak knows that this could be his last season with the squad if they do not make it to the playoffs so elusive since 2008. Oh, on top of all of that, the team is now implementing a new offense which won’t make things any easier.
“Anytime you have new staff and new players, you’re antsy to get going. Once we got out here, for phase two the last seven weeks, we’re very happy with what we’re doing,” Munchak said. “Once we’re out here, I love the nine weeks in a row. For me, it’s a lot better than it used to be when it was spread out over more weeks. I like the fact that once we start, it’s nine straight weeks, and we have these guys here three or four times a week and we have continuation from one week to the next. You don’t have to reteach things.”
