Titans fail to hold on to the lead, fall to Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens bounced back from a two game losing streak by going back to basics and running the ball down the throats as Justin Forset ran for 112 yards on 20 carries (5.6 yards per carry) and two touchdowns while Joe Flaco threw for another on 16-27 for 169 yards.

“Going into the bye, you want to feel good about things and get back on track,” tight end Owen Daniels said. “It was huge for us today.”

Things do not get any easier for the Titans as they next face the Pittsburgh Steelers (6-3). The only upside is it is at home.  Plenty of great seats and affordable tickets are still available so get yours now!

Titans fall to Cowboys

Locker Taking the Heat

While it is true that Titans QB Jake Locker had a QB Rating of 7 in the first half of the game against the Cowboys,  Locker was far from the only reason Tennessee lost.   Locker was under immense pressure as the offensive line failed to protect him and goaded him into throwing two interceptions.

Tight End Delanie Walker had a career game with Locker hitting him 10 times for 142 yards and a touchdown, all second half heroics and not enough to overcome a scoreless first half.

“Jake didn’t play his best in the first half, but we had opportunities to make a couple of catches that get us going and we didn’t do it,” Titans coach Ken Whisenhunt said. “… He did a better job in the second half. Maybe he just settled down.”

The Titans have the opportunity to right the ship on the road next week as they take on the Cincinnati Bengals.  Cheap tickets and great seats are still available so be sure to get yours now and help cheer on your Tennessee Titans!
