The Tennessee Titans and GM Jon Robinson made some haughty choices in the 2016 draft, trading away the number one overall selection for a future first round pick and a slew of second round picks, an extra sixth round pick for Guard Andy Levitre and a conditional seventh rounder for RB Terrance West. In all, the Titans draft went extremely well.
Titans coaches are confident that 1st round pick (and 8th overall selection) Jack Conklin will fit right in at right tackle. In the second round, the Titans had three picks with the standout being Alabama RB Derrick Henry. The third round netted Middle Tennessee State Safety Kevin Byard.

The Titans still need to shore up their defensive backfield but the team should improve enough to attempt a push into the playoffs this season. With the shrewd moves made in the draft, the Titans have assured themselves a top draft pick next season in a draft class with much more talent then the 2016 class.
