Titans fall to Cowboys

Locker Taking the Heat

While it is true that Titans QB Jake Locker had a QB Rating of 7 in the first half of the game against the Cowboys,  Locker was far from the only reason Tennessee lost.   Locker was under immense pressure as the offensive line failed to protect him and goaded him into throwing two interceptions.

Tight End Delanie Walker had a career game with Locker hitting him 10 times for 142 yards and a touchdown, all second half heroics and not enough to overcome a scoreless first half.

“Jake didn’t play his best in the first half, but we had opportunities to make a couple of catches that get us going and we didn’t do it,” Titans coach Ken Whisenhunt said. “… He did a better job in the second half. Maybe he just settled down.”

The Titans have the opportunity to right the ship on the road next week as they take on the Cincinnati Bengals.  Cheap tickets and great seats are still available so be sure to get yours now and help cheer on your Tennessee Titans!

Titans get win over Chargers

Jake Locker leads his team to first victory over Chargers since 1992

With a losing streak that has spanned over two decades, it took Quarterback Jake Locker to break the spell and he did so with a 94-yard drive that culminated in a touchdown by Rookie Wide out Justin Hunter who caught a 34-yard Locker pass.

“Every quarterback needs a game like this,” Tennessee wide receiver Damian Williams said. “We’ve always been 100% behind Jake, and after a game like this, hopefully everyone else will be, too.”

The Titans will get an opportunity to improve to 3-1 when they take on the New York Jets this Sunday.  Great seats are still available!
